Gorakhpur: Founder of Patanjali Yogpeeth, world famous yoga guru Swami Ramdev paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister and Gorakshapeethadhiswar Yogi Adityanath at Gorakhnath temple on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami. Swami Ramdev looked very emotional on reaching Gorakhnath temple.
Swami Ramdev, who reached Gorakhnath temple, first of all paid his respects at the court of Guru Gorakhnath. He worshipped Lord Gorakhnath, the incarnation of Shiva, with Vedic chanting. He offered his respects by bowing down. After this, he went to the Samadhi Sthal of Rashtrasant Brahmalin Mahant Avedyanath Ji Maharaj and bowed before the statue of Brahmalin Mahant ji and paid humble tribute.
After the darshan pujan, he paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who had come to celebrate Shri Krishna Janmashtami at Gorakhnath temple in the night itself.
After paying obeisance to Gorakshpeethadhiswar, Swami Ramdev greeted him by garlanding him with rose flowers. CM Yogi also welcomed Swami Ramdev by offering a bouquet of flowers.
After accepting the traditional prasad of the temple, Swami Ramdev discussed with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on issues of yoga, social and national awakening.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath presented Swami Ramdev with copies of the book ‘Rashtriyata ke Ananya Sadhak Mahant Avedyanath’ compiled in three volumes in the memory of his Gurudev.
